Conway Stewart Churchill Poppy Fountain Pen

Issued to commemorate the Somme Centenary 1916 – 2016 The poppy has long been associated with World War I and is the inspiration behind this magnificent pen, issued to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of the Somme in 1916. This special Poppy Edition is based on the award-winning Churchill in black acrylic – with a twist! Strikingly elegant, the Churchill has been Conway Stewart’s flagship pen since its introduction in the 1990s and now comes with a hugely tactile pattern chased into the acrylic and sterling silver fittings. We think it’s the perfect combination and is further complemented by a poppy ‘button’ in vitreous enamel and sterling silver inserted into the top of the cap. It’s a subtle but poignant reminder of the sacrifices made 100 years ago. Nib: 18K Gold nib Filling: Convertor-Cartridge Cap: Screw Cap
