With over 50 years of restoration experience, Penfriend is able to repair most vintage fountain pens including Parker, Waterman, Conway Stewart, Mabie Todd and Sheaffer. We send modern pens to the relevant manufacturers.

You can bring your pen into either of our branches or send it to us. When sending pens, please make sure they are securely packaged in a padded envelope and use the Royal Mails Special Delivery Service. Please ensure you enclose a covering letter detailing any problems, and your contact details.

We will send you a written quotation for the work needed. If you wish to go ahead with the repair, send us a cheque or contact us with your credit card details.

Return postage must be paid for.

Once we have received payment, we will proceed with the repair. Prices start from £28.00 + VAT for servicing.

Repairs can take up to 6 weeks, but generally are about 3 or 4 weeks. At busy times such as Christmas this may be a little longer. Pens received by mid-November will be completed and returned by Christmas, otherwise you can expect your pen returned in January.

If we think that your pen is not worth repairing we will advise you. Unfortunately some pens do reach the end of their useful life and, unless it is of sentimental value, it often makes more economical sense to buy a new one.

We guarantee our repairs for 6 months. Receipts must be provided if problems occur within this time.
